Oktoberfest Wedding

I was asked to create a wedding invitation from Micah's 1st birthday invites. The RSVP postcard was added and I love it! It's always fun to do new work on old projects!

Lauren's Bridal Shower Invite

I (not so recently) helped host a bridal shower and I was in charge of the invitations.
I was (who am I kidding- still am) severely lacking in time when I made these- Bella was 3 months.  So I relied very heavily on my Pinterest boards for inspiration... I wish this design was my own....just trying to keep it real here.
I ended up using a Minted invite that had been featured on a greenweddingshoes.com inspiration board. With a few change ups it really fit the brides style to a T... Her wedding color was Purple and she would be carrying Mums.

I had them printed at Office Max... because it's the closest printer. And then used vellum envelopes and washi tape as a seal
I really love doing graphic work and even though I do wish I would have had more time to be original I really love the way that these turned out. I guess that is the nice thing about doing things for friends...
I do have another invite if I can get it photographed... which could mean you will see it a year from now!
Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season!

T shirt fun

So behind on so many things! Sorry about that life is busy! I will try to get back and get up to date here soon but I really can't promise anything. I'm trying to spend more time with kids...  I don't really feel like I am accomplishing this since I have so many other things going on.... but you're not here to listen to that -you're here for crafting!

I've been playing with the Silhouette a LOT. It is addictive.
Among many other things I made matching shirts for the boys-- Uber was nice enough to let me dress them alike for a few hours and get a picture. I LOVE THEM! (the boys and the shirts... but mainly the boys)

I also made them matching Thunder Cats shirts

The one on the left was an extra shirt... for no one special at the moment.

This graphic is copied from an American Eagle shirt we bought Uber a few+ years ago. It wore out and I held on to it to duplicate... and since I didn't have to hand cut the design I realized Micah needed one too.

Micah's Sea Turtle Quilt Applique now a shirt graphic

And an enlarge Elephant shirt.

And here is Bella in one I made a while back (as in before I ever knew there would be a girl to wear it) - It's so fun seeing them in things with my graphics on it!

Alright I am off to bed. Hope you all are well I will try to catch up on my blog reading soon!

Ornament Exchange Invitations

Corinnea-- Jessica, a friend and I had a party. We can't prove it because we did not take one single photo.
Not. A. Single. One.
We were busy having fun.
Our only evidence are these invitations.
Jessica-- To be fair we were busy having fun and trying to make sure our 30+ guests were also enjoying themselves... yes 30+ I think our final count was 35... in Mum's house! Awesome turn out, considering we invited over 60... yes we are crazy! So on to the invites...
J - Remember that over 60 number? Well we had to make a lot of invites and we wanted them to be fun but most of all affordable. Since we had just shown you the cinnamon ornament recipe we thought it would be neat to include an ornament in the invite so we made a lot of little trees. We kept the rest of the invite pretty plain- just printed it on a heavy card stock and tied a tree at the top.
C - The lovely little tree graphic is a Jessica original.
J - It's printed on a 2x3" mailing label that I cut the curved corners off of and then each invite was stuffed into a treat bags that we found in the $1 bin at Target.
C - The house was full of food and friends. Silly games were played. Ornaments chosen, stolen and chose again. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon.
J - Since we did the party potluck style we also included recipe cards in the invite, this time from the $1 bin at Michaels. So after the party my slave driver mother sent me home to work on a small gift to give out to everyone who attended.
J -We just scanned in all of the recipe cards and then resized them and printed them up into a small book.
J - I think Mums first huge event at her house was a success... tomorrow we will be back with a tour of our holiday decorations.

Invites for a 25th Wedding Anniversary

A friend is throwing her daughter a 25th Wedding Anniversary Party and asked for me to make up the same invites I did for her other daughter a little over 3 years ago (which was the very first thing I posted about on my blog. I also made the invites for their 50th Anniversary that her daughters hosted.)

She ordered candy bar wrappers again.  Which are very fun- just glad I don't have to wrap all of the candy bars!
It's always nice to see couples hit these anniversarys!

I know I am finally getting to Micah's birthday.
I went back and forth trying to decide on a theme and then it hit me - It had to be an Oktoberfest.
So here are the invites, party pictures will be tomorrow.

Tshirts

Motorcycle tshirts for the whole family. This was the graphic I orginally made for uber.
But I've also used it on tshirts for other motorcycle loving families.
I am loving it on the little boy shirts

And of course little girls like butterflies better.

I'm thinking about offering the tshirts in the shop just haven't figured out the best way to do it...

Quilt tags

Are you all sick of these projects yet? I used the Yudu to create quilt tags for Mum and I. These are printed on to white Kona Cotton... of course this means we both need to make a quilt now....
