The baby's room is a butterfly theme so that is what we did for the shower.
This is the garland that hung over the food and cake. I made it out of punched paper adhered to grosgrain ribbon. I did them in four layers to give a 3d effect.
Over the gift table I did tissue paper poofs for the clouds and cut out butterflies to fly around them.
The mom-to-be really liked them she took all of the decorations home with her for the babies room, which is awesome because I would hate to have throw them out...and I think uber was really happy about it because I probably would have left them up for a while!!
last but not least here's the cake it was scrumptious. We didn't even put a dent in it. It's from Cinotti's bakery check it out if you are local.
Alright I am off.... to bed... at 9pm on a friday night!! Yes, I am that tired.
Oh' Jessica. Everything looks beautful. I love the colors and that garland is so sweet and looks like a lot of work. The tissue puff balls were a great idea. And Yum on that cake! You must have made her very happy.

ReplyDeleteWhere are the letters from? It's all just fantastic! A really tastful, gorgeous shower. I love everything!! I want to make the butterfly garland:)
ReplyDeleteThe letters are just cut out. I found a font I liked and traced it out onto the cardstock. The butterfly punch is from hobby lobby but I think it is also on target online.
