Uptown Coats, Again....

Warning: These pictures do not do these coats justice. It's not You Know Who's fault, it's just too dark to go outside. You've also seen these coats here several times before. Look anyway.

My mom and Aunt requested these after seeing the one I sent to my sisterMom, Rhonda, if you  don't like them let me know and I'll keep them. Just sayin.

For my mom. Dark brown corduroy and Imperial Fusions both by Kaufman fabrics. I was searching for just the right lining when Kelly suggested this. It's perfect.

For my Aunt. Black Kaufman corduroy with a lining from "au-then-tic" by Sweetwater for Moda. I covered the buttons in corduroy. I love this even if I do say so myself.

This coat is just too cute.
Yummy vintage buttons for my mom's coat.

Thanks for stopping by. Off to my next project.

  4. Really, Really Nice! The black one was my favorite, the lining was soooo cool in it. I'm just wondering. How many people haven't you made this coat for? You really love your family, cause these can't be that easy to make.

  7. Oh my goodness! They are, once again, fabulous! How DO you do it? You're amazing! So, in the event that you want or feel the need to make another coat...I'm in the market. Just saying. And in the event that you have lighter color fabrics you need to use...(cuz, l do have two light haired animals and they do shed!), you could send that coat with said lighter colored fabric to Nebraska! Did I mention, it is a bit chilly here and I would be able to wear "said" coat longer through out the year so it would get lot's of loving wear?! Just thought I'd mention that! ;-) And btw, I am still basically (for now) still the same size as the last time I saw you. Okay, maybe a tad thicker, old age ya know... ;0

Nora, Sheri, I hope ya'll enjoy your coats cuz I am seriously tempted to somehow snag yours (even if they are a dark color)!
